San Carlos has some beautiful mountains, that are characteristic of the Sonora Desert, with the Teta Kawi mountain being the closest for a great climb.
The english translation of "Teta Kawi" means "Goat Teats"(funny name, once you see the mountain from a distance, you will see why they call it that.)
Teta Kawi measures approximately 1300 feet tall, with adventurous trails that will take you to the top.
It takes approx. hour and a half to claimed to the top at a moderate pace, we only recommended the months of October thru April, due to the heat during the summer months.
